Dream-Travel’s study abroad programs for adults and students have been connecting students and teachers across cultures since the early 1990s. Founded by former educator René Piard, the program began in Colorado, where French students were welcomed into American homes for true immersion experiences. Today, Dream-Travel continues that mission, partnering with schools and teachers to create safe, enriching and flexible student immersion programs across the U.S.

Classic Homestay Program
Our flagship program connects visiting students from France, Spain, Austria and Germany with welcoming American host families. Students experience daily life, attend school, and join local excursions while teachers help integrate them into the community. Many schools go on to organize their own trips abroad, turning a single visit into a lasting partnership.

Partial Support & Language School Options
For schools that already have hosting arrangements, Dream-Travel offers flexible logistical help - including airfare, insurance, payment processing, and airport transfers. We also coordinate language exchange homestay programs in Europe and beyond, where students live with local families while attending daily language classes for cultural and academic immersion.
